The Phantom Stranger was the subject of a surprise look-back in Amazing Heroes, courtesy writer Ed Sample, kicked off by an all-new piece of artwork by someone named Jeffrey Bethune:

The article runs ten pages, a decent length considering that The Phantom Stranger is hardly Superman or Batman. Sample covers all the major events of the Stranger's career to this point, and provides a fairly complete checklist (its missing a book or two, but overall a solid effort).
