The Phantom Stranger, having recovered from the battle against the Spectre (and being turned into a mouse!)--or so it seems--in Day of Vengeance, comes to visit his old squeeze Madame Xanadu:
...later, he and the newly-formed Shadowpact get drawn back into a battle with the Spectre, and they end up at the Rock of Eternity:
The issue ends with Dr. Fate seemingly disappearing into nothingness, leaving the Stranger, for once, looking surprised. Thus kicks off the "Tenth Age of Magic."
