
I think we can tell by the cover that the Phantom Stranger will be guest-starring here, and he does, looking more nasty and dark than ever before:

I never understood HELLBLAZER. I saw the Keanu Reeves movie and I read a trade paperback, but I just didn't find it all that interesting.
The movie is really nothing like the comic.
Anyways, this is a great story, sort of the culmination the first half of Mike Carey's run had been building towards. I just wish the Stranger had been given a more meaningful role than just showing up to yell at John and tell him to stop being so self-absorbed.
The Stranger's next appearance in Out Of Season was really cool, though.
